I'm enjoying a holiday until the end of this week and am even spending less time behind my computer and just try to reload before the madness at work starts again. I need some extra energy for my business trip to Berlin this month. Really looking forward to meeting my trademark friends and colleagues again! :)

I still ow you the pictures we took in Paris and will sort them out tomorrow hopefully so that I can share those with you as well.

For now, here are some pictures we took yesterday when we paid a visit to the beautiful village Kinderdijk with me wearing my beloved new camel coat from Zara. If there's only one item you would like to purchase for Fall make sure it's a camel coat!

I have been so busy these last couple of days. I went to Paris for a short city break to escape the bad weather in Holland. We stayed in this great arrondissement called St. Germain (6th), with the Jardin du Luxembourg just around the corner. Definitely worth a visit and I am planning to go back soon.

We strolled down the streets of Paris and did some shopping at Rue Saint Honoré (my favorite street in Paris). Will show you some pictures of my trip soon!

We drove back in time for my bff's wedding. It was great. Events like these remind me of what love is really about and even taught me something about the true values of friendship. It reminded me of this group on Facebook called "Don't worry about people in the past, there is a reason they didn't make it to your future". I guess sometimes, this is painfully true...

I have a short trip planned to Paris soon. I adore Paris and I simply love how Parisians dress. It has a certain je ne sais quoi. And since no trip to Paris is complete without any Chanel (at least for me that is) I felt inspired to put some Parisian style and something Chanel in my outfit.

Oh, and I finally managed to get my hands on the September issue of Vogue US. I went to the book store so many times and it took forever for it to hit the stores here in Holland, but finally got it today! Yay! :)

I'm sorry for the lack of texts today! I had a bachelorette party yesterday for my bff who is getting married next weekend. We had so much fun and a bit too much to drink which has led to my lack of inspiration today.

Two more days of work before my short break starts! Yay! :D

It has been raining a lot for the past couple of days. Although it has been said that this year is the hottest ever, you really can't tell if you look outside. Well, the rain can't stop me from showing you one of my outfits! :) And I still have high hopes that Summer will make its appearance again later this month *fingers crossed*!

By the way, I am developing a bit of an obsession for September issues (fashion magazines that is). Now that weather is more like Fall, I am getting anxious to work on my wish/shopping list for Fall items. I might show you some items that are on my list later.

Shirt H&M / shorts H&M / shoes Miu Miu

Remember my post about the Miu Miu Daisy mary-janes of two weeks ago? Well, as you can see, I got them and I couldn't be happier! :) I combined them with this - what must be a Miu Miu inspired - shirt with cute bows all over. The shirt was meant to be all buttoned up and comes with this big bow. However, when I wore it like that, I looked like a silly clown. So that was a definitely no-go as you can imagine! ;)

I normally don't wear lots of prints, but I just couldn't resist this cute jacket with poodles! It's really becoming one of my favorites jackets at the moment. Not really suitable to wear to, or in the office, so that's why I'm wearing it now while typing this! :D

Ever since I started my blog, I had been walking around with the idea of creating a t-shirt as a way to get my message across in a clear, yet friendly way. This is the result the mail man delivered today! :D

It looks like Summer has decided to leave Holland. We have to grab every chance we have to enjoy the sun before it hides behind a big cloud again. :( Just a couple of weeks before I can enjoy a break from the office. Hopefully the sun will be back by then, because I'm planning lots of days at the beach! A few pictures taken when the sun was making a short appearance.

I was never a fan of yellow. However, lately I have grown to like this color. Who knows, maybe it's just a phase... 

Remember my visit about two weeks ago to the Ready to Fish store of Dutch designer Ilja Visser? I bought this cute vest in this beautiful delicate fabric, which I believe is a great combination with the soft shade of yellow!

I had big plans yesterday thinking it would be a sunny day. Unfortunately, when I woke up and looked outside, it was raining... So cold and dreadful, ugh! I really felt like putting on this new poncho I just got to keep me warm. Never thought I would be needing it in August! We headed down to the beach to take some pictures. It sure looks like it's autumn don't you think? Oh, I spent hours at Zara this weekend to browse through their new fall collection. I bought a couple of things that I plan to show you within the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned! ;)

Poncho H&M / Trousers Repeat / Wellingtons Hunter

I bought so many new clothes at H&M lately that I don't even know which ones I want to wear. I would love to wear them all at the same time or change clothes three times a day, LOL! Anyway, I would like to share some pictures of an outfit I wore last weekend. I still have to get used to it, but I love this long skirt! You can't really tell from the pictures, but it ends below my ankles. I had to be careful not to trip over the hem of the skirt. ;)

I like taking pictures early in the morning! With only the sound of tweeting birds and the soft lighting of the sun and no one around. Not being a morning person at all, there is the downside of still feeling and looking sleepy. :s

Well, as I wrote earlier, I bought lots of new things lately. So much I would like to share with you.

I love my Fedora hat! I always take it with me when I go to the beach.

I love breton stripes! I simply can't get enough of them. These pictures were taken early in the morning, which I like the best, although I'm no morning person (at all)!

The breton striped dress I bought at one of my favorite shops Luna Azul. They always manage to sell the coolest stuff. Spot on! With some of my favorite brands, such as American Vintage, Supertrash, Antik Batik, Traffic People, etc. If you're ever in The Hague, it's a must visit! Or check out their online store (sorry only in Dutch I'm afraid).

And don't you just love this fun bag? I bought it in Marbella in such a cool store in Puerto Banus called Elite. They sell the best designer brands such as Balmain, Alexander McQueen, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Proenza Schouler, See by Chloé, etc. etc. They're working on an online shop, so keep a close watch on this one!

It must be a Repeat week! :) Yesterday, I shared my excitement about the launch of the online webshop of Repeat with you guys. Well, actually, I am happy that I don't have to wait until Fall and Winter to put on my Repeat items! They have plenty of clothing suitable for this season as well! I was really impressed by H&M's Garden Collection when it was released this Spring. Unfortunately I missed out, since everything sold out extremely fast. Luckily, I still managed to get my hands on some pieces of this lovely collection in the end.

And although the weather forecast doesn't sound very promising, I have decided I will wear a nice flowery dress so I will be dressed for the occasion!

Spring was nowhere to be found lately, with the exception of a nice day every now and then. Therefore, I was happy we had two gorgeous days this weekend! :)

I truly hope that temperature will keep on rising since I would love to spend most of my time on the beach this summer!
