I still haven't managed to get my hands on the Mulberry Alexa in oak. The suspense is killing me. I'm on a waiting list and hopefully the stores will receive new supplies soon. I even checked with the Mulberry store in Paris and naturally it was sold out there as well.

In the meantime, I visited the Mulberry site just to have a glance at this beauty and found this fun picture showing the evolution of the Alexa.

As you may already know, this bag is named after the British fashion icon Alexa Chung and is 1 part Bayswater, 1 part Elkington and a dash of vintage inspiration. Isn't she gorgeous? I'll let you know when this beauty is mine! :)

Ever since I saw Alix "The Cherry Blossom Girl" wearing these cute Miu Miu Daisy mary-janes from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection, I couldn't stop thinking about them. After seeing them on her blog it looked like they were popping up "everywhere" or was my mind just playing tricks on me? I started a search to track them down months ago and found them on a Dutch webshop called Eleganza. After putting them on my wishlist and waiting for them to hit the sale and even waiting for a second mark-down I took the plunge and got them! I am now impatiently waiting for their arrival! "Mines" are the more wearable version: without the platform and a lower heel! Pics up here soon hopefully! :)

After being obsessed with Chanel for over a year now, I've come off of cloud 9 for a short break. Although Chanel will always be my No. 1, for some weeks my wandering eye couldn't help noticing this beautiful bag, named after one of the current IT-girls Alexa Chung! I absolutely adore her cool style! So it's no surprise that the bag named after her is at least as cool as she is!
