I love taking a walk through Paris and enjoying the atmosphere. Paris has a special place in my heart and I can't get enough of that city. We did some shopping on Rue St. Honoré. Checked the stock at Mulberry and did some browsing at Colette. Naturally, I had to pay a visit to Chanel at Rue Cambon. I spotted the cutest classic mini flap in patent leather, but since I'm on a Chanel shopping ban, I had to let this one go.
We ended the afternoon with a visit to the Eiffel tower and couldn't resist taking a funny picture...

I still haven't managed to get my hands on the Mulberry Alexa in oak. The suspense is killing me. I'm on a waiting list and hopefully the stores will receive new supplies soon. I even checked with the Mulberry store in Paris and naturally it was sold out there as well.In the meantime, I visited the Mulberry site just to have a glance at this beauty and found this fun picture showing the evolution of the Alexa.
As you may already know, this bag is named after the British fashion icon Alexa Chung and is 1 part Bayswater, 1 part Elkington and a dash of vintage inspiration. Isn't she gorgeous? I'll let you know when this beauty is mine! :)
Zara September 2010 Lookbook
Zara's webshop is finally online as of today! Unfortunately, they do not deliver to Holland yet. I do hope that will change very soon. Of course, I had to pay a visit to at least see what the webshop is like and it looks great.
I also browsed the rest of the site and saw that Zara has a new September lookbook and had to share a few favorite looks with you. Furthermore, it seems that Zara is also working on a (hard copy) magazine that will be released very soon. Hopefully, I can get my hands on a copy.
Well, as you may have noticed, I am a bit obsessed with Zara lately. I get like that with lots of things. :s It's just that I am trying to cut back on costs and Zara is a great way to keep up-to-date without burning a hole in my pocket! So be prepared to see many more outfits with Zara items in the future! :)
The news is out and confirmed by H&M today. The new guest designer is Lanvin! I love Lanvin and I can't wait until November when the collection will be revealed (on November 2nd) and sold (on November 23rd)!

I'm enjoying a holiday until the end of this week and am even spending less time behind my computer and just try to reload before the madness at work starts again. I need some extra energy for my business trip to Berlin this month. Really looking forward to meeting my trademark friends and colleagues again! :)
I still ow you the pictures we took in Paris and will sort them out tomorrow hopefully so that I can share those with you as well.
For now, here are some pictures we took yesterday when we paid a visit to the beautiful village Kinderdijk with me wearing my beloved new camel coat from Zara. If there's only one item you would like to purchase for Fall make sure it's a camel coat!

I have been so busy these last couple of days. I went to Paris for a short city break to escape the bad weather in Holland. We stayed in this great arrondissement called St. Germain (6th), with the Jardin du Luxembourg just around the corner. Definitely worth a visit and I am planning to go back soon.
We strolled down the streets of Paris and did some shopping at Rue Saint Honoré (my favorite street in Paris). Will show you some pictures of my trip soon!
We drove back in time for my bff's wedding. It was great. Events like these remind me of what love is really about and even taught me something about the true values of friendship. It reminded me of this group on Facebook called "Don't worry about people in the past, there is a reason they didn't make it to your future". I guess sometimes, this is painfully true...
I am loving the new nail polish colors that Chanel will be launching on 10 September at VOGUE's Fashion night out. Like last year this will be a limited edition collection and sold in Chanel boutiques, online (unfortunately not for Holland) and selected department stores.
I really think that this collection of nail polishes fits perfectly in this Fall's trending colors and would love to get my hands on these colors.
